Oh We Make Progress. I've gotten my little constituent (literally 4 ft. 11 in.) who is taking on the biggest real estate tycoon of our town (a.k.a. slum lord) a lawyer who not only will represent her pro bono but is so impressed by her due diligence that he has offered her a job as a paralegal. The bad slum lord in question today left a message on our work voice mail to the effect that how could we possibly be helping a woman "of her echelon?"
